As official sponsor, Banco Atlántida inaugurated the first commercial exhibition of packaging and design in the country along with the Ministry of Economic Development and the guild of national and foreign investors.
San Pedro Sula, April 2-4, 2019.- More than 200 national and foreign companies managed to establish more than 1,000 business appointments during ''HonduExpo: Packaging and Design 2019'' in San Pedro Sula. For Banco Atlántida, training and advising Honduran clients and entrepreneurs is invaluable. In this occasion, the renowned banking institution provided a free opportunity to equip them with cutting-edge trends regarding packaging and design to support the efforts of small, medium, and large companies in our country and the Central American region.
Through the adoption of new trends in packaging, national entrepreneurs will add value to their products, obtaining better sales prices and export possibilities by depicting them as more competitive within the international market. This big event counted with the international participation of companies from Chile, Peru, Taiwan, Mexico, United States, Dominican Republic, Spain, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Cuba, among others; who imparted keynote lectures and international class workshops to the Honduran companies.
The topics addressed during workshops ranged from Sensory Marketing in Packaging to increase Sales to Luxury Packaging for Premium and Brand Products. These subjects are highly beneficial for the participant companies since they work within the sectors of fruits and vegetables, coffee and cocoa, meats and seafood, beverages, processed foods, basic grains, confectioneries, pharmacists, suppliers of all kinds of raw materials, packaging manufacturers, recycling, logistics and transport industry, machinery, equipment, printing and design services.
Alexa Foglia, Banco Atlántida’s regional Vice President of Corporate Banking, shared her enthusiasm for being part of this initiative: "Banco Atlántida continues to promote development in our country. HonduExpo: Packaging and Design 2019 is a unique event in its category and only on its first day, more than 500 people had the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the latest trends, solutions, and technologies about packaging and design. This event took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Cortés (CCIC) Expocentro, from April 2 to 4.
