Grupo Financiero Atlántida, as a socially responsible company, stands in support of the Honduran population during these difficult times by adopting measures that will benefit the most vulnerable sectors during the crisis Honduras is living as of now, along with the entire globe.

Mr. Guillermo Bueso, in his condition of President of Inversiones Atlántida, announced that its Board of Directors guaranteed employment to more than 4,500 employees located throughout Central America. Likewise, he affirmed that they would make a donation valued at more than 5.5 million lempiras, which consists of 10 hospital ventilators suitable for the treatment of COVID-19 and 5,000 basic market baskets, which are being distributed as follows: in the city of Tegucigalpa, 2,500 baskets among the Catholic Church of Suyapa, cleaning staff at Hospital Escuela and San Felipe Hospital, SOS Villages and other causes.

The delivery of the baskets in the city of Tegucigalpa was carried out by Mr. Carlos Girón, Executive Vice President of Retail Banking, Payment Channels and Communications of Banco Atlántida with the support of its CSR volunteering team.

1,500 baskets will be delivered in the city of San Pedro Sula, and in La Ceiba, 1,000 families from the neediest areas will benefit. In this way, Grupo Financiero Atlántida through these solid actions reaffirms its commitment and responsibility towards the Honduran people, demonstrating once again that by working with effort and solidarity, together we will make it possible.
